We are currently recruiting three PhD students to work at the interface between DNA nanotechnology and bottom-up synthetic biology.
1) Funded by recently awarded ERC starting grant NANOCELL - A DNA Nanotechnology Toolkit for Artificial Cell Design. See here.
2) Funded by the Leverhulme Centre for Cellular Bionics and co-supervised with Yuval Elani and Pietro Cicuta. See here and select "Engineering motile artificial cells capable of swimming up concentration gradients" from the list.
3) Funded by the Leverhulme Centre for Cellular Bionics and co-supervised with Marco Di Antonio and Yuval Elani. See here and select "DNA phase separation as a general means of regulating gene expression in synthetic cells" from the list.
