Prospective PhD and MPhil students should inquire with Lorenzo (contact below) by email, attaching a CV, a (brief!) motivation statement, and transcripts. There are many scholarship opportunities for excellent candidates in Cambridge. To complete for these, it is necessary to apply for PhD (or MPhil) by early December (to start the following October). Make sure you get in touch a few weeks before this deadline. Please note that our Department requires a Master or 4-year undergraduate degree for admission to PhD, and that the mark of your first degree is at least equivalent to a high UK 2.1.
We are very keen to support talented PhD graduates and post-doctoral researchers in applying for an individual research fellowship to join the group. There several opportunities available in the UK and in Cambridge, including national and international schemes from the EU, UK research councils, the Leverhulme Trust, the Royal Society (and more), and local schemes promoted by Cambridge Colleges and Schools. If you are interested in exploring these opportunities, please email Lorenzo, attaching a CV and a brief motivation statement.
